Soup Patrol

This collection of ultra-rare, ultra-funky, 45-only releases by little-know American artists from the late 1960s and early 1970s ranks up there with similar collections by Keb Darge, Giles Peterson, Kon & Amil, Quantic, and Kenny Dope. The label, Soul Patrol, is known among collectors as a scrappier version of Now Again or Jazzman, with a formidable track record of being the first to repress more than its share of undiscovered sides.
