The debut release for Detroit's NICHOLAS C. RAFTIS III. OOO plays very emotive techno in the best creative spirit of the Belleville originators, but bang it up to date acknowledging the European triumvirate's (Autechre, AFX, Squarepusher) effect on the last decade's music, but without aping their sound. Elements of jazz and funk mix with electronics and delicate breaks to create another stellar Mu release.
